CJ has been a stylist in Gaston County for 9 years. IF you ask her she says that’s the “legal years” since her friends would ask her to do their hair before she even knew she wanted to attend cosmetology school. She is incredibly passionate about this industry. There isn’t an area she feels is more important to her than others. The most important thing is to make someone feel comfortable, safe, relaxed, and full of laughter during their hair dates.
Taylor completed her cosmetology certification at Isothermal Technical College in July of 2013. She joined the Les Travaux family in January of 2016. She’s been with her husband Bobby for 6 years and she has a 4 year old son, August. When she’s not doing hair, Taylor enjoys crocheting, photography, murder podcasts, and playing Xbox. She has a dog, Tuco and a cat, CiCi.
Sarah has been a stylist at Les Travaux Salon since October of 2017. She is a graduate of Aveda Institute Charlotte. She is originally from Las Vegas, NV and moved to Gastonia in 2011. She has a certification in Hot Heads hair extensions. She chose this industry because she loves to give people confidence. She feels like a different hair color, hair cut or even a spray tan can achieve that boost that someone may need.

My name is Amber Kissinger. I have been a stylist at Les Travaux Salon since August 2018. I am originally from Baltimore, MD but I have made North Carolina my home for the past 16 years.
I graduated with my degree in cosmetology from Paul Mitchell the School and have been loving what I do ever since. I am a certified eyelash technician with a true passion for the service I provide. Being a stylist is like being an artist that gets to see her canvases come to life. My clients are far more than a name on an appointment book, they become friends that I look forward to spending time with. Which makes what I do a passion and not just a job.
Hello, my name is Anna Carnes. I have been doing hair for 18 years. I attended Carolina Academy which is now known as Paul Mitchell. I started my career at Carmen Carmen in charlotte and went through their extensive training program for a year. A few years later I came back to Gaston County and worked at Burton Hills for a year then at Salon Prestige for 12 years. I have been at Les Travaux Salon since June of 2017 and have loved it ever since.
I currently reside in Belmont with my husband Chris, daughter Lauren, and my yorkie Sassy. In my spare time I enjoy reading, going to the beach, and watching my daughter dance competitively. I also love Japanese food and sweet tea!
I specialize in cuts, color, formal hair, and waxing. My favorite hairstyle to execute is a “bob” as it takes precise cutting! I am also certified in Brazilian Blowouts which is a trending service.
Our salon proudly uses Matrix and Redken products. I hope you will consider me as your next hair stylist as I love to share my passion! Whatever the hairstyle, I will strive to give great results.
My name is Stephanie. A few of my favorite things are black cats, all things Disney, and of course hair! Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been drawn to hair and makeup. I always knew that one day I would be a stylist. I made the decision to enroll at Paul Mitchell in Gastonia, and it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! I graduated in 2017 with honors in texture. I love being a stylist because I get to give my clients confidence. I love to see how happy clients are after receiving a service. It is the most rewarding career that I could’ve chose.
With a love for hair sparking from growing up in her mom’s beauty shop, Emma Patrick knew there was nothing more she would rather do than become a hair stylist. Emma attended school for cosmetology through Gaston College as soon as she graduated from high school. Working as a receptionist at Les Travaux throughout her schooling and graduation in January 2016, Emma started her career as a licensed cosmetologist at Les Travaux in February 2016.
Loving every aspect of the art of hair, Emma excels in cuts, coloring, curling, and styling equally. Emma is even certified in Brazilian Blowouts and takes pride in styling each and every hair type and costumer’s taste in preference. Loving math and numbers, Emma says that each haircut is “geometry” and the colors are “formulas.”
While Emma is not doing hair, she enjoys spending time with her niece and nephew, or going to see a scary movie with her mom and sister. Emma loves traveling and seeing new places and enjoys simple pleasures that life has to offer, such as a beautiful sunset. Making people feel beautiful and happy is one of Emma Patrick’a greatest pleasures. This is why she will continue to learn, grow, and pursue the passion of cosmetology as a hair stylist.
